One proposed setup · USA sign shops

Get the details before you quote.

A sign quote-request form template, an inquiry-summary template, and five follow-up email templates, organized around the information your shop needs to review a project.

SignBrief is a proposed quote-intake setup for shops that want a clear starting point for customer inquiries. It focuses on collecting project details and identifying gaps, not producing estimates or making technical decisions for your team.

Planning preview only. This prototype has no submission backend, messaging integration, or order-processing workflow.

What it does

One intake pack. A defined handoff.

The proposed setup brings the questions, summary, and follow-up wording into one small pack. Your shop reviews the language before use and decides which details are necessary for its own work. No customer outcomes or time savings have been established.

One quote-request form template

Ask about sign type, approximate dimensions, quantity, artwork availability, installation needs, location, and desired timing. Include space for uncertainty so a customer can describe what they know without pretending to have final specifications.

One inquiry-summary template

Organize the supplied details into a consistent brief for your team. Separate customer-provided information from unanswered questions, and keep preliminary measurements clearly marked for review rather than treating them as approved production instructions.

Five follow-up email templates

Prepare drafts for missing dimensions, artwork questions, location details, timing clarification, and a final completeness check. Your team chooses when a draft fits an existing, expected conversation and reviews every message before sending.

The form template would distinguish an approximate size from a measurement your shop has checked. Artwork availability would mean asking whether a file exists, not certifying that it is suitable for production. Installation questions would gather context for your review without recommending a mounting method or implying that permission has been obtained.

The summary template would preserve those distinctions. An unanswered question stays unanswered rather than being filled with an assumption, and a requested deadline remains a customer preference until your shop confirms otherwise. You decide what makes an inquiry ready for your estimating process; the pack does not make that decision automatically.

Proposed one-time setup range

USD $250–$500

This is an unvalidated asking range, not an established market rate. The exact scope and price would be confirmed by email before any commitment; the request controls below are a demonstration rather than an ordering process.

How it works

Start with your shop’s questions.

01 · Define the intake

Identify the sign requests you want the template to cover and the information your team needs first. Agree on required questions, optional details, and situations that should go straight to a person instead of another form field.

02 · Review the drafts

Review the form, summary, and five email templates together. Check that the wording matches your shop’s terminology and does not imply a confirmed price, production slot, installation date, or technical approval before your team has assessed the request.

03 · Approve the handoff

Confirm the agreed templates before putting them into use. Choose your own tools and internal owner for handling inquiries; a working website connection, automated routing, or hosted customer database is not included in this proposed pack.

A future pilot could compare how often inquiries arrive with missing information before and after using the templates. Any such comparison would need an agreed method and real observations; this page makes no claim about improved conversion, faster quoting, or additional sales.

Who it’s for

For USA shops reviewing sign requests.

The intended buyer is a sign-shop owner or manager who wants a structured intake starting point in English. Whether the pack fits your shop depends on your existing process, the kinds of signs you handle, and how your team prefers to work.

Before choosing this setup, compare the proposed fields with the questions you already ask. If your existing process covers these details well, another template may not be useful. If your work needs specialized technical intake, define those requirements first rather than relying on this general outline. The proposed pack is deliberately limited so its boundaries can be discussed before any commitment.

Your shop retains responsibility for estimating, pricing, design, verified measurements, materials, permitting, and installation approval. Software subscriptions and ongoing inquiry handling are excluded. The pack does not replace professional judgment, a site visit, or a discussion when a project needs clarification.

FAQ

Clear boundaries before you begin.

Is this estimating software?

No. The proposed deliverables are intake and communication templates. They do not calculate prices, select materials, approve artwork, or determine whether a sign can be installed at a particular location.

Will the pack send emails for us?

No. The five email templates are drafts for your team to review and use within appropriate customer conversations. Sending, inbox monitoring, and ongoing follow-up work are outside this offer.

Can customers submit an inquiry here?

No. This is a front-end planning preview with no receiving system. The request dialog is disabled for submission, and its fields are optional demonstrations only. Do not enter real customer information or confidential project details.

What needs confirmation before proceeding?

The scope, exact price, review process, and delivery arrangements would need confirmation by email. A live intake workflow would also need suitable form handling and a reviewed privacy notice before collecting information.

Review the request preview.

Explore the proposed interest fields without placing an order. If this draft becomes a live service, the request process must be completed and reviewed first; this preview has no request-processing or delivery workflow.
